Welcome
LongView, Inc. is a Central Florida based Registered Investment Advisor dedicated to providing clients with comprehensive, unbiased personal financial advice. Our goal is to help you organize your personal finances; fully address your financial needs and wants; help you protect and grow your assets.
As a private, independently owned and operated firm, we strive to create an atmosphere of open communication, familiarity, and trust, that a company with a large corporate structure, and perhaps thousands of employees, simply cannot offer you.
We continually seek ways to better serve you, and remain committed, year after year, to helping you find the best use of your resources .
What Makes us Different?
What makes us different? Our independence. At LongView, there aren’t any in-house or proprietary investment or insurance products to offer. Additionally, our Investment Management Service is strictly fee based, not commission or transaction oriented. We believe we have effectively removed the major obstacles in the path to providing you with personalized, unbiased financial advice.
We offer a service. We sift through the thousands of alternatives to help you find what’s right for you. We diligently look for cost and tax savings for you. We aid you in organizing and profiling your financial future.
We earn our paycheck by serving you, the client. This makes the relationship easy to understand, and the motives clear.

The LongView Approach
The principles upon which we have built, and continue to operate our company, are as follows:
Always Serve the Best Interests of the Client;
Provide Consistent, Results Driven Advice;
Give Each Client the Personal Service they Expect and Deserve; and
Maintain a High Standard of Excellence within our Profession.
Regardless of your age or personal financial circumstances, having a personalized course of action, paying attention to detail, selecting appropriate investments, realizing cost efficiencies, and considering tax consequences, may all play a role in your financial well being.
If you are not inclined to go it alone when addressing your financial matters, we urge you to consider your options carefully. Beware of the pitfalls and potential inadequacies you may encounter in the typical client/broker relationship.

Personal Financial Planning
It is our belief that to best achieve consistent, sustainable progress, you should have a solid understanding of your current financial situation. A good first step towards gaining this understanding is to “take inventory”. This includes identifying, gathering, and reviewing all the items that may have some impact on your financial life.
Please don’t underestimate this process of putting together an up to date, accurate snapshot of your current financial situation. Consider this exercise the financial equivalent of a physical exam.
This process helps build a foundation upon which you can make informed decisions about your financial future.
We then look to identify the major financial commitments, needs and desires that are meaningful to you and your loved ones. Some commonly mentioned items include:
Retirement Planning
Funding College Education
Minimizing Taxes
401(k) and IRA Rollovers
Preserving Your Estate
Creating Investment Income
Cutting Commission Costs
Support of an Elderly Parent
You’ve now built a solid foundation and spent some time outlining your financial goals and committments, and are well-prepared to make further decisions.
We believe effective personal financial planning, and subsequently successful investing, are best accomplished by adhering to a simple 4-step process:
Understand Where You are Now
Clearly Identify Goals and Commitments
Create a Personalized Course of Action
Monitor and Adjust
What You Get
Our Personal Financial Planning service offers you a comprehensive package including private consultations, the preparation of a Personal Financial Statement, and plenty of follow-up time.
We keep the structure of the engagement flexible as to best suit your needs and schedule. Here’s an outline of a typical flow of events:
a.) The process starts with an initial, private consultation. The better we understand your concerns, opportunities and attitudes, the better prepared we are to advise you.
b.) Using the information you provide, we then begin creating your Personal Financial Statement. As the work progresses, we may contact you seeking clarification on some items, or to make sure we fully understand your situation.
c.) Once a final draft is ready, we schedule another private meeting to discuss the entire Financial Statement. In this meeting we cover each topic in detail, specifically addressing your objectives and the course of action needed to help achieve them.
d.) We place no limitations on the time we spend with you. The process is complete only when you fully understand the information we’ve covered.
We can also make accommodations for those who would prefer to address their finances (retirement planning, investments, insurance, family business, wills, etc...) one piece at a time.

Investment Management Service
Our Investment Management Service was designed to offer institutional quality money management to individuals and small business owners. We are an entirely independent firm, and we offer no in-house or proprietary investment or insurance products. Additionally, this service is fee based, eliminating any potential conflict of interest that may arise from a commission or transaction oriented service.
With the information learned while preparing your Personal Financial Statement, we’ll have a working understanding of your financial opportunities and challenges. This allows us to begin creating and implementing an investment program that is designed to meet your needs.
All of our research efforts and final investment decisions are made in-house. You will always have free access to comprehensive information regarding your investments. If you have any questions about your portfolio, just pick up the phone and give us a call (or e-mail us, or drop by, etc.).
Establishing a well-built investment portfolio is only the beginning. This service provides ongoing monitoring of each investment within your portfolio.
Also, it is important to revisit your overall game plan regularly to ensure that you stay on track, and that you remain flexible enough to allow for unforeseen changes in your life, and in the markets.
What You Get…and How it Works
This service offers you full-time, professional investment management. Regardless of the type of account (Individual, Joint, Trust, IRA, Roth IRA, 401(k) Rollover, Corporate, SEP-IRA, etc.), the portfolios are designed to meet your objectives and keep costs and taxes to a minimum.
a.) We start by helping you establish an account with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., the largest discount brokerage in the world.
b.) A portfolio is created and put to work using your objectives as the basis of its make-up.
c.) Your portfolio, and each of its components, are regularly monitored to ensure that they remain true to your needs, and in tune with market conditions.
d.) Each month, you receive a comprehensive statement detailing total portfolio value, change in value from previous month, year-to-date information, portfolio position detail, and any transaction activity.
e.) You’ll receive regular correspondence from LongView. These communiqués are designed to keep you abreast of the financial markets, as well as any other information an informed investor should know.
f.) Full-time access to our office via telephone, mail, e-mail or walk-in.
