Background: Ted has 20 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career he has focused his efforts on becoming an ever better personal financial advisor and investment manager. The bulk of his time on the job has been dedicated to working on a one-to-one basis with clients. Additionally, he spent several years as Director of Securities Investment for a private advisory firm. His principle responsibility was managing roughly $150 million in client accounts. Ted’s area of expertise in investment management is building portfolios of no-load mutual funds. He has shared his thoughts and insights on financial planning and investment management as a contributing writer to a mutual fund investment publication, and as a guest on a nationally syndicated financial radio program. In 1995, convinced he could provide clients with a better service by being completely independent, he helped found a firm designed to offer clients comprehensive, unbiased financial planning and investment advice. Formal Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) from the University of Central Florida. Professional Credentials: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional. Personal: Born Charles Theodore Black, Jr., 1960. Central Florida resident since 1979. Ted and his wife Diane have two sons.
